A little about Me

I shot my first roll of film at the age of 10. The camera was a Kodak 110 instamatic, the event my 4th grade teacher’s retirement party. I immediately fell in love with the medium and discovered a tremendous desire to learn more. It was the beginning of a life long pursuit.

Fast forward: After graduation from the New England School of Photography, I embarked on my career; 1st working as a darkroom technician, next as photographer's assistant. I currently freelance and enjoy photographing “real people” , events and still life. My work has been seen in Elle Decor, Design Times, Interior Design magazine, American Metal Market, The Griffin Report, Crain’s of NY and on the web.

Whether it's a wedding or trade show, I approach event photography with an infinite curiosity of rituals and the excitement of meeting new people. With a mission to create images that are true to the moment, I document the day in a natural, unobtrusive manner.

When I’m not holding a camera I am often found wielding a spatula or garden spade. I approach cooking and gardening with as much enthusiasm and firmly believe that great food not only nourishes the body but the soul as well. And the fruits of my labor, pun intended, often add to my portfolio.
